This is my personal Zenith Class 4 Chronograph. The model number on the tag is 02.0500.400/24. It features the famous El Primero movement that was modified for use in the famous Rolex Daytona and many other watch companies for many years. Though retired, the last list price and actual selling price I saw at retail was $3,500. The newer less attractive models (chono/date...IMHO) are crazy priced now. Personally I think this watch will do very well as a collectable. Zenith no longer carries a watch with this classic look (again in my humble opinion).

This watch is in absolutely perfect functional condition. It keeps great time and the chronograph function is precise. The case and bracelet do have some light scratches from normal wear. I chose not to have these polished out in the last overhaul by LVMH in July 2008. I didn't know I was going to be selling the watch and now I wish I had elected that option (polishing).I have not used the watch since this last cleaning. I tried to do my best to capture them with the pictures as I could. There is a small ding at 6:30 that can be seen if you look carefully. I think this can be polished off. The sapphire crystal is scratch free. I am the original owner of this watch and have taken excellent care of it. It was a birthday gift from my wife (I think in 2001) and though special to me, it has to be sold. My wife understands and is OK with this sale.
This sale includes the watch itself, the original inner and outer box, the Zenith video, the Zenith book/catalog, extra links, all the original instructions, extra box from LVMH (when overhauled) and the original tag.
